Citroen C5 AirCross tyre pressures
Front 33 psi (2.3 bar), rear 35 psi (2.4 bar) on the standard 17-inch wheels. Manufacturer data, checked cold.
Manufacturer figures for the Citroen C5 AirCross (facelift), normal load, tyres cold. If the label on your door pillar or fuel flap says something different, go with that.
Resetting the tyre pressure warning light on your Citroën
Most UK Citroëns from about 2013 (C3, C3 Aircross, C4, C5 Aircross, Berlingo and current models) use an indirect under-inflation detection system, so you reset it after setting the pressures. Some older models, such as the C5 from about 2008 to 2017, had sensors in the valves.
- Set all four tyres to the label pressures, cold, suited to the load.
- Switch the ignition on, staying parked.
- On the touchscreen, open the Driving (or Vehicle) menu and choose the under-inflation reinitialisation option; without a touchscreen, use the dashboard display menu (Drive assist > Tyre pressures).
- Confirm. A high-pitched beep means it worked; a low tone means it didn't.
Citroën C1
- With the ignition on, press the reset button in the glovebox until the warning lamp flashes 3 times, then wait a few minutes before switching off.
When to reset: Reset after every pressure adjustment or wheel change.
Menu names vary by model and year, so check your handbook if yours looks different. More in what the warning light means.

Put your reg in and we'll show the figures for your exact car, including the wheel size it left the factory on.
What tyre pressure should a C5 AirCross have?
33 psi at the front and 35 psi at the rear (2.3 and 2.4 bar) on the standard 17-inch wheels, with the tyres cold.
Should I use a higher pressure when the car is loaded?
The manufacturer gives one figure for this car, so no. If you're carrying a full load for a long motorway run, the label on the door pillar may show a higher figure — follow that if it does.
What tyre size does the C5 AirCross use?
215/65R17. The size is on the tyre's sidewall, e.g. 235/40R18.
Check them cold. Pressures are set for tyres that haven't been driven more than a mile or two. After a run they read 3–4 psi high.
Once a month, and before a long trip. Tyres lose about 1 psi a month on their own.
The sticker wins. If your car's door-pillar or fuel-flap label says something different, go with that — it knows your exact spec.
