Resetting the tyre pressure warning light on your Hyundai
Many smaller and older Hyundais use an indirect system with a reset; larger and newer models (Tucson, Santa Fe, Kona, Ioniq) mostly have sensors in the wheels.
Cars with sensors: inflate all four tyres to the correct cold pressure and drive. The light should go out within a few minutes.
Indirect models
Set all four tyres to the correct cold pressure, with the car parked.
Either select Tyre Pressure on the dashboard display, press and hold OK and choose Set, or press and hold the TPMS button under the steering wheel until the light blinks.
Drive for about 20 minutes so it learns the new pressures.
When to reset: Indirect models: reset after every pressure adjustment. Sensor models: no reset needed.
Menu names vary by model and year, so check your handbook if yours looks different. More in what the warning light means.
