Resetting the tyre pressure warning light on your MG
Current MGs (MG4, MG5, ZS EV and others) have sensors in the wheels and show each tyre's pressure on the screen and in the app. There's no reset button.
Set all four tyres to the handbook cold pressure.
Drive normally. The system relearns as you go; readings can be off for the first few minutes.
If it doesn't clear, switch off and lock the car for about 25 minutes, then drive for about 15 minutes.
When to reset: No reset needed after inflating. If wheels are swapped or rotated, an MG dealer needs to reprogram the sensor positions.
Based on owners' copies of the handbook rather than an official MG page, so check yours.
Menu names vary by model and year, so check your handbook if yours looks different. More in what the warning light means.
